As we close the first year of the SYNERGIES project, we celebrate reaching a major milestone. 2023 has been our first year, setting the stage for the work ahead. From launching the research to fostering collaboration between partners and collecting preliminary data in the preparedness cases, the groundwork for success has been laid.

What’s next?

Through teamwork and innovative thinking, we have worked to establish a strong base for the research and development phases of SYNERGIES. Starting in January, the focus will shift toward implementing workshops across the various pilot sites, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and evaluating the effectiveness of the solutions we are developing.

Of course, challenges lie ahead, but so do opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

The image we have chosen to accompany our holiday greetings reflects the spirit of SYNERGIES. It represents the collaborative nature of our work, which draws on the skills, expertise, and dedication of many individuals and builds on the foundations laid by previous projects. Together, we are working toward a shared vision of community preparedness and citizen empowerment.
